VNN’s Citizen Journalism Project aims to empower individuals from underrepresented communities to share their stories, experiences, and perspectives. We believe that everyone's voice matters, and through citizen journalism, we can create a more inclusive and diverse media landscape.

For the purposes of this program, underrepresented means:
BIPOC, Female, Low Income, Survivor of Domestic Abuse, LGBTQ2S+, and/or Justice Impacted
If you fall into any of those categories, your unique experiences and insights can contribute to a richer, more equitable news experience for our selected participants and the future of this program.
We invite you to take a brief survey to help us better understand the topics you think matter most to Citizen Journalism.
Thank you for your time and support. Your input will guide the development of our program and ensure it aligns with the needs and interests of underrepresented communities.
