We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes on a variety of projects. But we’ve still had time to put out some great community news.

Like “The 21st Century Renaissance of the Muscogee Nation”, VNN’s latest illustrated news story. It’s the springboard for our sub-series “Community Voice: Indigenous Perspective”, to share more Native American stories in our communities. 

Winter weather has been making headlines. In Michigan, more than a foot of snow was dumped in a winter storm this month.

But winter is also cause for celebration. “World of Winter” kicked off in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The two-month long event features different outdoor art designs throughout the city.

In tech news, VNN has an expert breakdown Discord and its implications for the future of Web3.

Our news affiliates have also been hard at work. 

Big If True tells us how some jails and prisons are suspending in-person visits to limit the spread of Covid. Video and phone calls costing more than a dollar a minute are the only option some are left with.
