(OKLAHOMA) Sunday’s severe storms knocked out power to more than 200,000 customers in the region, and PSO says residents and business owners should expect a “multi-day recovery” to restore power. Wind gusts up to 90 mph caused outages across the Tulsa and McAlester areas.
US Supreme Court upholds Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA)
(NATIONAL) The U.S. Supreme Court voted to overturn a Texas federal court’s decision that the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) was unconstitutional in a 7-2 decision on Thursday. The court also rejected the ruling that ICWA placed undue burdens on states and was race-based.
