Police seize 11+ pounds in largest Fentanyl bust in Tulsa history
(OKLAHOMA) On August 2 around 4:45 p.m., the Mingo Valley Division Street Crimes Unit served a warrant at an apartment at 1st and Rockford. Officers recovered 11 pounds of Fentanyl, several pounds of meth, 140+ grams of heroin, including some black tar heroin, $7,000 in cash, and several firearms.
Haskell receives $20 million science award
(NATIONAL) Haskell Indian Nations University just received a $20 million award for a new Indigenous science hub project. The award, funded under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, is the largest National Science Foundation award ever granted to a Tribal college or university.

City of Tulsa, Tulsa Fire Department Issue Important Burn Ban Information
(OKLAHOMA) Following a burn ban that was issued for Tulsa County earlier this week, the City of Tulsa and the Tulsa Fire Department want to remind people that any kind of outdoor burning is strictly prohibited. This includes fire pits, chimineas, outdoor fireplaces, campfires, trash burning, etc.
