This event will take us on a journey through the powerful, enduring bond between the Irish and Native American communities, born from the hardships of the Great Hunger and strengthened by the generous Gift of the Choctaw Nation. Together, we'll reflect on how this historical connection continues to inspire Indigenous allyship today.
The evening includes:
Thoughtful Discussions: Learn how the Irish Choctaw connection serves as a model for allyship and how we can build bridges between communities.
Catered Dinner: Enjoy a unique blend of Native and Irish cuisine provided by Autumn Star Catering, a Native-owned business.
This is a rare opportunity to connect across cultures, deepen your understanding of allyship, and honor a meaningful legacy of compassion.
Thank you to our partners at Tulsa City-County Library.
